Orchard Park, N.Y. (WBEN/WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills will, once again, be in the national spotlight come this Sunday afternoon.
The National Football League announced on Monday it has flexed this Sunday's Bills matchup with the New England Patriots at Highmark Stadium to 4:25 p.m. EST. The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. EST in Orchard Park.
This will be the third-straight week the Bills are playing in the 4:25 p.m. EST window of games in the NFL. The Bills lost a Week 14 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams in Southern California, while earning a massive win this past Sunday over the Detroit Lions.
Both road games saw the Bills scoring 40-plus points in those efforts.
The Bills have already locked up the AFC East, and are now pursuing the Kansas City Chiefs for the top seed in the AFC. At 11-3, Buffalo still sits two games back of the Chiefs, who are 13-1 on the season.
Sunday will be the first matchup of the season between the Bills and the 3-11 Patriots, who will then play each other in the regular season finale at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
