Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills have re-signed another one of their own pending free agents, agreeing to a new two-year deal with defensive tackle DaQuan Jones.
The signing was first posted by Jones' agency, Athletes First, on their Instagram page, and later backed up by Jones on X, formerly known as Twitter.
At 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, Jones is able to eat up blockers and was also a penetrator last season, finishing with 2.5 sacks and four tackles for loss in only seven games.
However, he was sorely missed for a 10-game stretch after injuring his pectoral muscle in Buffalo's Week 5 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
The 32-year-old is a terrific complement to the undersized Ed Oliver, who had his best season as a pro last year.
Jones was scheduled to become a free agent, but will return to the Bills along with defensive end A.J. Epenesa, who officially re-signed with the team on Monday.
