Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Cleveland Browns are signing former Buffalo Bills defensive end A.J. Epenesa to a one-year deal, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Epenesa, who became an unrestricted free agent when his contract expired at the start of the new league year, was drafted by the Bills in the second round (54th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Iowa.
The 27-year-old played six seasons in Buffalo, playing 91 games and starting 19 of them. He totaled 24 sacks, including 6.5 sacks in back-to-back seasons in 2022 and 2023. He also collected four-career interceptions.
