Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Ryan Van Demark has signed an offer sheet with the Minnesota Vikings, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.
The Bills now have five days to match the offer from Minnesota.
If they don't, Van Demark will become a member of the Vikings and the Bills will not receive any compensation, since he was undrafted and they gave him the lowest qualifying offer (or "tender") as a restricted free agent of one-year, $3.52 million.
Van Demark, who played his college football at UConn, was signed by the Bills following training camp in 2022 after he was waived by the Indianapolis Colts. He spent that season on their practice squad before becoming an important backup tackle for the last three years.
Van Demark, who will turn 28-years-old next week, has played 43 games for the Bills, including all 17 last season, and has started six games over the last three seasons in Buffalo.
