Orchard Park, NY (WGR) - The Buffalo Bills got back to work on Monday, two days after dominating the Cleveland Browns 31-7 in their second preseason contest, preparing for the exhibition finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night at Highmark Stadium.

Wide receiver Skyler Bell and safety Jalon Kilgore both returned to the field after missing time recently and not playing in the game on Saturday. Bell has yet to play in a preseason game, missing both of the first two contests. He told reporters after practice that it was a groin injury he was dealing with, but felt "like a kid in a candy store" getting back on the field, especially because he said he had never missed that much time before playing football.

Wideout Dante Pettis also returned after missing the joint practice at the Browns on Thursday and then the game on Saturday.

However, wide receivers Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman were still not present. Both players have been out since the team's first preseason game on August 15. Coleman has been in a walking boot when he’s been present.

A walking boot is also what rookie offensive lineman Jude Bowry was using on Monday while watching the team go through the early portion of practice before heading to the training room area.

On Saturday afternoon, prior to the game at the Browns, it was reported by NFL Network that defensive tackle Ed Oliver has been dealing with the tragic death of his two year-old son, which happened in June. Bills general manager Brandon Beane released a statement supporting Oliver and his family.

Oliver had been with the club throughout all of training camp, but was not in Cleveland due to an injury.

He was at the facility on Monday. He did not practice, but took part in some light stretching with his teammates prior to practice.

Other players who did not practice on Monday included centers Connor McGovern and Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, safety CJ Gardner-Johnson, running back Ty Johnson, edge rusher Javon Solomon, and linebacker Terrell Bernard.
