Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After missing the last three games with a forearm injury, Buffalo Bills cornerback Taron Johnson returned to practice on Wednesday, wearing a red-non-contact jersey.
Johnson was injured early in the team's Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals and had not practiced since.
Linebacker Terrel Bernard, who returned to practice last week but did not play in Sunday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens, was back on the field again, but this time wearing a regular blue practice jersey. He had been in a red non-contact jersey last week.
The status of both players for this Sunday's game against the Houston Texans won't be known until later in the week.
While Johnson and Bernard returned, the Bills were without several starters on Wednesday.
Offensive tackle Dion Dawkins (hamstring), safety Taylor Rapp (concussion), wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle) and defensive tackle Austin Johnson (oblique) all did not practice.
New defensive tackle Zion Logue, who was signed off the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad, was also present on Wednesday. He will wear wear No. 97 in Buffalo.
