Cardinals reportedly hiring 35-year-old Oliver Marmol as manager


The Cardinals have their man. According to Katie Woo and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Cardinals will introduce bench coach Oliver Marmol as their new manager in a press conference Monday morning at 10 AM CT. He replaces Mike Shildt, who, despite guiding St. Louis to a 17-game winning streak and an NL Wild Card berth, was let go after the season over “philosophical differences.”
