Charles Barkley’s contempt for the Golden State Warriors was on display yet again during the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night.

Warriors center Draymond Green was working as a sideline reporter for TNT during the game and at one point during the fourth quarter Green and Barkley engaged in a tense exchange about the state of the Warriors.

“I hate to say it, but the Golden State Warriors are cooked,” Barkley said.

“That’s crazy,” Green replied. “You said that last year, but we all know you don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“I did not say that last year,” Barkley retorted.

“You said it every year,” Green said. “You said it every year since I’ve been in the league.”

The defending NBA champs currently sit in ninth place in the Western Conference, which would mean they would have to win two games in the play-in tournament to earn a berth this season if they remain in that spot.

While the Warriors have dealt with injuries and have not looked as sharp as last year, Barkley seemingly is always looking to take shots at Golden State.

Barkley has criticized and trolled the Warriors fan base, particularly during last year’s Western Conference Finals, where he had objects thrown at him in addition to the booing and jeering while TNT was on set in San Francisco.

Earlier this year, Klay Thompson took issue with Barkley’s characterization that he is not the same player, with many other Golden State players coming to his defense.

With Green under contract with Turner and expected to join the “Inside the NBA Team” when his career is over, this will certainly not be the last beef between the two.
