Stephen Curry spent his Sunday paying a surprise visit to Mistah F.A.B’s Oakland Block Party at Dope Era, the rapper’s store.

Mistah F.A.B., aka Stanley Cox, told The Undefeated’s Marc J. Spears that Curry, along with his wife, Ayesha, were on hand for a couple of hours, sans security.

“Man, he is the greatest,” Cox told Spear.

“He told me he was coming, but it’s nothing like him actually being here with his wife and no security. They trusted me and knew that I’d never let as much as a fingernail chip come off his hand.”

Curry even played some streetball, with Mistah F.A.B’s team, at Linden Park.

“Man, the kids couldn’t believe he was there. He means as much if not more to Oakland than what Michael Jordan meant to Chicago,” Cox said.
