DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly not interested in bringing in free agent safety Earl Thomas, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Or are they?
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones refuted the report during his appearance on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday morning. "He doesn't know what he's talking about," Jones said when asked about the report. "The only one who knows that is me standing right here."
Rapoport later responded to Jones' comments on Twitter.
"Gotta love Jerry Jones… who said the same thing — “He has no idea” — when I reported midway through the season that Dak was going to get franchise tagge. Anyway, Dallas has had some talks about Earl Thomas, has not made an offer, and there is no expectation they will."
