The wife of Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim was robbed of her purse at gunpoint in the parking lot of a mall in Syracuse, law enforcement sources told Syracuse.com.

Juli was sitting in her car near a Cheesecake Factory when she was approached by a youth, according to the police. He began speaking to the victim before pointing a gun at her and reaching into her car for her purse.
The armed robber and two others fled scene in a nearby car, which had been reported as stolen, per law enforcement.
Juli was not injured during the robbery and the investigation is ongoing.
