Despite being down 40-25 at halftime, Bill Self's Kansas Jayhawks completed an epic comeback to defeat the North Carolina Tar Heel, 72-69, and win the 2022 NCAA Tournament Championship for men's basketball.
The Jayhawks had five players in double figures Monday evening, helping Self to win his second National Championship - the first for Kansas since 2008.
The 15-point deficit faced by the Jayhawks at halftime is the largest such deficit that any team has overcome to win the title game.
