There's not a whole lot to cheer about when your favorite NFL team's most exciting "healthy" player gets injured early in a game... and in the second quarter of said game, the opposing team scores four touchdowns while your quarterback commits three turnovers... and your team ultimately ends up losing by a large 27-point margin. That's not a lot to cheer about at all.
But does that mean that New York Giants fans should then proceed to boo their team off the field? To some, it sure does. But to others — including defensive tackle Leonard Williams — that's not the way a fan base should operate.
