The Jacksonville Jaguars apparently celebrated their wild comeback win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night with some well-deserved comfort food.

But they might not have enjoyed their meal without an assist from Marissa Lawrence, wife of quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
On Tuesday, Trevor told reporters that about 20 Jaguars players team chowed down at a Waffle House restaurant after his wife had made a "reservation" there. Apparently, offensive lineman Brandon Scherff and backup quarterback E.J. Perry had never eaten at a WaHo, so Lawrence was following through on a promise to them.
The popular greasy spoon chain isn't necessarily the first place that comes to mind when you think of making a reservation, but it couldn't have hurt to give the restaurant staff the heads up that a bunch of hungry football players were about to show up.
The late-night dinner choice was a hit among football fans and journalists -- not to mention Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who, when asked about it at a Tuesday news conference, called it a "baller move."
