DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marcus Spears called out quarterback Dak Prescott on Monday for throwing a party at his home during the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the weekend, TMZ reported that Prescott had a party with as many as 30 guests in his home, ignoring Texas Governor Greg Abbott's executive order which says that all people in the state "shall avoid gatherings of groups of more than 10 people."

"This is just dumb," Spears said on ESPN's 'Get Up.' "It's dumb and it's totally disrespectful with what we have going on right now in this country."

Spears went on to say that his biggest problem with Prescott's gathering is the strain it would put on medical workers if the virus were to spread at the party.

"The disrespect to do this and recognize that people that have to presumably take care of you after these dumb social gatherings that you should not be having, by the way, is the one that really irks me and rubs me the wrong way."

According to TMZ, "the turn up went down Friday night at the Dallas Cowboys QB's crib in Prosper, TX, and his star running back was there as a guest," TMZ Sports wrote. "We're told it was a birthday party for one of Dak's friends, and at the height of the bash, there were about 30 guests."

105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher also weighed in on Prescott's party, saying he and Ezekiel Elliott's behavior should be showing Cowboys fans how to be responsible during this time at home, but instead, they did the complete opposite.
