The 41-year-old offensive lineman hopes to play in 2023, in what would remarkably be his 20th NFL season, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Peters played 10 games for the Dallas Cowboys last season and 15 games for the Chicago Bears in 2021. Before that, he was with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played from 2009 to 2020.

Peters racked up nine Pro Bowl nods and six All-Pro selections (two First-Team), plus he was named to the 2010s all-decade team. He also helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl in 2018, and will one day be in the Eagles Hall Of Fame and the Pro Football Hall Of Fame.

The undrafted free agent out of Arkansas started his NFL career in 2004 with the Buffalo Bills, where he played five seasons and earned two Pro Bowl nods and was named an AP Second-Team All-Pro twice.
