Philadelphia, Pa. (Audacy Sports/WGR 550) - Baseball fans witnessed one of the rarest feats in the long history of the national pastime on Wednesday night - a no-hitter in the World Series.
Houston Astros starter Cristian Javier and three relievers - Bryan Abreu, Rafael Montero and Ryan Pressly - held the potent Philadelphia Phillies lineup hitless in Game 4 at Citizens Bank Park, tying the best-of-seven series at 2-2.

It marked only the second no-hitter in World Series history after New York Yankees starter Don Larsen's perfect game against the then-Brooklyn Dodgers in 1956.
For the Astros, it was their second no-hitter of the season, and the second involving breakout star Javier. The 25-year-old right-hander and two relievers held the Yankees hitless on June 25 at Yankee Stadium.
On Wednesday, Javier threw 96 pitches in six sharp innings - issuing just two walks while striking out nine batter - before yielding to Abreu. The trio of relievers did the rest, with Pressly inducing a game-ending groundout by Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto to seal it.
The no-hitter was a stunning turn of events after the Phillies tied a World Series record of their own by crushing five home runs against the Astros in Game 3 on Tuesday night.
But this night belonged to the Astros, and many baseball journalists and fans couldn't believe what they just witnessed.
