Houston, Texas (Audacy Sports/WGR 550) - The NFL did not lack any drama this weekend, as it felt like every game had a dramatic finish. This included the Kansas City Chiefs-Houston Texans matchup at NRG Stadium, which appeared like it would be a lopsided matchup on paper.
Instead, the one-win Texans took Patrick Mahomes and Co. to overtime and it looked like their chances of pulling off the upset were pretty good when Houston took the ball over from their own 13-yard line with just under six minutes to go.

Texans quarterback Davis Mills just needed to get them into field goal range; alas, he could not even get them through one play.
Mills began to scramble while under pressure from the Chiefs pass rush when he fumbled the ball, which was promptly recovered by Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay Jr.
The stunning turn of events gave the Chiefs the ball right back on the Houston 26-yard line, already in field goal position to win the game. However, the Chiefs didn't even need a field goal, as Jerick McKinnon took a handoff on the first play to the end zone for a walk-off 30-26 win and clinching the AFC West.
The wild ending had many buzzing on social media, with a lot of the shots directed toward Mills for costing not only the Texans the game, but also angering Buffalo Bills fans who were hoping to improve their odds in securing the. No. 1 seed in the AFC.
The Chiefs will continue their pursuit of the No. 1 seed with the Bills on Saturday when they play host to the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead Stadium. As for the Bills, they will travel to Chicago to take on the Bears at Soldier Field on Saturday.
