SEE IT: Skunk invades FirstEnergy Stadium during Browns-Buccaneers game

Cleveland fans have some experience when it comes to dealing with some furry creatures

Cleveland, Ohio (Audacy Sports/WGR 550) - Something stinks in Cleveland, and we’re not just talking about the Browns.

During Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at FirstEnergy Stadium, some fans were surprised by a small, furry little creature that came to catch some of the game.

Indeed, a skunk was on the loose in the stands in Cleveland in the section behind the Browns tunnel, which caused quite a distraction for fans from the game.

Despite possibly being sprayed, fans were rather cool in the moment, taking videos and pictures of the creature and not running away from it. Some fans even appeared to be feeding it.

At one point, the skunk even appeared to be stuck between the steps in the bleachers.

Of course, Cleveland fans have experience when it comes to this — dealing with an opossum a few years ago.

As for the game, it, too, appeared to be quite a stinker for some time, with both teams having to battle the elements throughout the afternoon. However, an incredible highlight reel catch from tight end David Njoku late in the fourth quarter helped lead to a 17-17 tie and some extra football.

The game almost ended in a tie until Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper broke free for a 46-yard catch-and-run with 56 seconds remaining in overtime. Two plays later, running back Nick Chubb punched the ball over the goal line to help give Cleveland a 23-17 win.
