Audacy has launched "wager-tainment" in Western New York, bringing the “BetQL Network” Sports Betting programming to Buffalo as “ESPN 1520” WWKB flips to “The Bet 1520“.

In January 2021, Audacy debuted it's wagering programming with the “BetQL Network” in Denver, Chicago and Los Angeles, expanding to Baltimore, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Washington DC in June.
WWKB, now the 11th station to add BetQL, had been airing ESPN Radio’s national programming plus CBS Sports Radio’s Jim Rome from 12-3pm which will remain with The Bet 1520. 1520 will also remain the home of University at Buffalo Bulls Football and Basketball, Buffalo Bisons baseball, and Buffalo Bandits lacrosse.
