Former Patriots running back Dion Lewis retiring after 10 NFL seasons

Despite being only 5-foot-8 and less than 200 pounds, Dion Lewis put together one heck of a NFL career.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the running back is retiring from the NFL after 10 seasons. The report added he's retiring despite interest from teams as recently as last week.

Lewis may most be known for his three years in New England, which included winning Super Bowl LI. But, his best season game in 2017 when he rushed for 896 yards with six touchdowns, while also making 32 receptions for 214 yards and three touchdowns.

He signed with the Titans the following offseason.

Lewis played 2018 and 2019 with the Titans before spending last year with the Giants.
