However, a commanding offensive performance against the Vikings didn't come without a negative. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Saints linebacker Kwon Alexander suffered an injury that may be serious.
Alexander came to New Orleans from the San Francisco 49ers in a midseason trade in return for Kiko Alonso and a conditional 2022 fifth-round draft pick. Prior to Friday's game, Alexander had recorded four pass deflections, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and 24 tackles with the Saints.
