
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Andrew McCutchen, returning from an ACL injury, could be joined by old friends in Philadelphia this season.
According to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, the Phillies have signed former Pirates second baseman Neil Walker to a minor league deal.
Also on Wednesday, the Phillies signed free agent and former Pirates pitcher Francisco Liriano to a Minor League deal.
Liriano was 5-3 last year with Pittsburgh. He had a 3.47 ERA.
Back in December, the Phillies signed former Pirates infielder Josh Harrison to a minor league deal and he is also invited to Spring Training.
Harrison was injured for a large portion of 2019 playing in 36 games for the Detroit Tigers, batting .175.
