(670 The Score) - The Chicago Blackhawks are working on a potential trade of defenseman Duncan Keith, according to Sportsnet hockey insider Elliotte Friedman on Wednesday.
There are rumblings Chicago is working on a potential Duncan Keith trade to either the Pacific Northwest or Western Canada. Word is Keith and team are working together to get him to a place he wants to go. We will see where this goes.

Keith, 37, has spent his entire 16-year NHL career with the Blackhawks and has been a key part of their three Stanley Cup championships during his tenure with the team. Chicago selected him in the second round of the 2002 NHL Draft.
The trade is likely to send Keith to a team in either the Pacific Northwest or Western Canada, according to the report. That would presumably put the expansion Seattle Kraken, Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers in play as potential destinations.
Keith played in 54 games last season, recording four goals and 11 assists while averaging 23:25 minutes per-game. He has two seasons left on his contract, which carries a $5.5 million cap hit annually.
