Rochester, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Rochester Americans had two forwards that were named to the 2021-22 AHL All-Rookie Team on Wednesday.

Jack Quinn was taken by the Buffalo Sabres in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft.
Despite missing quite a few games with injury and mononucleosis, Quinn is 21st in league scoring this season with 25 goals and 34 assists for 59 points in just 44 games.
Over a full season in the AHL, that would equate to 43 goals and 59 assists for 102 points, which would lead the AHL. Quinn's 43-goal pace would be second in the league.
In two games with the Sabres this season, Quinn scored his first NHL goal and added an assist.
Meanwhile, JJ Peterka was taken in the second round (34th overall) of the same draft class as Quinn in 2020.
Peterka has 25 goals and 39 assists for 64 points in 69 games this year. He currently sits 11th in AHL scoring, but leads all AHL rookies as the Amerks enter the final week of the regular season.
The winger played two games in Buffalo this season and went pointless.
