Blessing worked as a sports anchor at WIVB and hosted "Hockey Hotline" with Mike Robitaille on the Empire Sports Network during his 25 years
in Buffalo broadcasting.

Blessing left Buffalo for Las Vegas where he was a respected
voice in the sports betting business.

Over the years, Blessing still followed the Bills and Sabres, and
often was a contributor on sports and sports betting news at WGR and our sister station WBEN.

Blessing passed away at his home in Las Vegas on Sunday. He was 64.

On Sunday, the Sabres tweeted:

"We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Buffalo broadcaster and Hockey Hotline host Brian Blessing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian’s friends and family during this difficult time."
