'Sabres Fan Fest' announced for Sept. 16

The event will feature appearances from the full Sabres roster

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN/WGR 550) - The Buffalo Sabres announced the return of "Sabres Fan Fest" on Friday, which is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET at Alumni Plaza outside of KeyBank Center in Downtown Buffalo.

Members of the team's roster, along with head coach Don Granato and general manager Kevyn Adams will appear at the event.

The festival will feature many new additions this year, including a dunk tank.

Fans will also be able to take their picture with every banner that currently hangs from the rafters at the arena honoring Sabres legends.

A new street hockey tournament called "Hockeyfest" will also make its debut at this year's event. The tournament will be held on Perry Street in front of the arena, and features players of all ages and skill levels, along with certified referees.

Updates on "Sabres Fan Fest" programming will be posted on the Sabres' website.
