Sabres, Penguins swap minor leaguers in trade

Bennett MacArthur and Jagger Joshua head to Buffalo, while Colton Poolman and future considerations return to Pittsburgh

Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - A pair of trades were made on Friday that saw minor leaguers swapping places between the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins.

First, the Sabres acquired forward Bennett MacArthur in exchange for defenseman Colton Poolman. In addition, the Rochester Americans acquired forward Jagger Joshua from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins for future considerations.

MacArthur, 23, has played 28 games so far with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL and has totaled three goals and seven points.

As for Joshua,the 25-year-old has played 12 games between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Wheeling, scoring three goals and picking up six points.
