Neuchev was ranked 32nd overall among European skaters by NHL Central Scouting this offseason. The Russian winger played 61 games for Yekateringburg and scored 40 goals and 27 assists for a total of 67 points.

The 6-foot-2, 165 pound winger was tied for the third-most goals in the MHL this past season, having played mostly in the junior Russian league. He also played five games in the VHL, which is Russia's second-tier professional league, for Gornyak-UGMK, where he did not contribute a point. Neuchev also played one game for his parent club in the KHL, Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, where he didn't record any points.

Neuchev is likely to return to Russia next year and continue to play with the Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg program, where he could compete for a roster spot in the KHL.
