Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Sabres continue to be a team on the rise in the National Hockey League, and the rest of the league has taken notice.
With the young group in Buffalo expected to take another step forward after just missing out on the Stanley Cup Playoffs this past season, the Sabres are set to have a strong presence this upcoming year in the national spotlight.

The Sabres announced on Wednesday they will be featured on 15 national broadcasts over the course of the 2023-24 season. This will feature seven games on TNT, six games on ESPN+/Hulu, and even two games on ESPN or ABC.
All other Sabres broadcasts this season will come on MSG and MSG+.
Buffalo's first national broadcast will come on ESPN on Tuesday, Oct. 17 when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning for a 7:30 p.m. ET faceoff at KeyBank Center.
The other primetime game featuring the Sabres this upcoming season will take place on ABC when Buffalo hosts the St. Louis Blues for a 1 p.m. ET faceoff on Saturday, Feb. 10.
While the Sabres will be featured on TNT a total of seven times during the 2023-24 campaign, two games of those games - Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Philadelphia Flyers and Wednesday, Jan. 17 vs. Chicago Blackhawks - will be broadcast exclusively on MSG within the Buffalo broadcast market.

The Sabres will open the 2023-24 season on Thursday, Oct. 12 against the New York Rangers at KeyBank Center for a 7 p.m. ET faceoff. That game will be broadcast on MSG with Dan Dunleavy and Rob Ray on the call.
