Top fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Week 9
The unthinkable has occurred. The man who received 386 carries in 2019, including both the regular season and postseason, and then somehow one-upped that with 396 in 2020, and then was on pace for an insane 465 in the 2021 regular season, has finally gone down. The face of fantasy football, the No. 1 scorer among running backs through seven weeks by a whopping 55-point margin, could very well be done for the rest of our fantasy football seasons.
King Henry got hurt, and he'll have a big, fat, red O next to his name for the foreseeable future, and there's nothing we can do about it.

But we can certainly try. Enter the waiver wire and the inevitable FAAB contest for his replacement. For the teams that were coasting to a playoff berth on Henry's shoulders, the whole season has been flipped upside-down, and this week's waiver wire could very well dictate whether or not they can recover.
Without further ado, here's our breakdown of top waiver wire targets and, as always, you can check back on last week's list for any key players who still may be available.
