The latest installment, The Anthology Part IV: Going Home, will release December 6 and include never-before-seen photos and anecdotes surrounding the 14 years he stepped away from the stage to spend time with his kids.

“Those fourteen years of my life are the ones I’ll always remember,” he shared in a statement. “It was life at its best. I learned to be a dad, my girls got to know me, and I’d never for one second regret walking away from a career in order to find all of that.”

Garth isn’t the only one who reminisces on those times through the book. Wife, Trisha Yearwood as well as some of Garth’s closest friends also offer their commentary and insight.

In addition to the book, Part IV will also feature a six-disc set containing songs from projects including The Lost SessionsBlame It All on My Roots: Five Decades of Influences and original cuts from early in Brooks’ career.
