Garth Brooks is several steps closer to opening his three-story honky tonk bar on Nashville’s famed Lower Broadway strip. The Country icon revealed this week the establishment will open on November 24.

Along with the grand opening will be a “dive bar” concert fans will only be able to win their way into — much like the process he used for his Dive Bar Tour a few years back.

To win tickets, fans will need to listen to Garth’s Big 615 channel on TuneIn radio. Find out more information about the process by watching Garth's latest episode of StudioG below.

“We feel very lucky to have the chance to be part of Lower Broad, which is arguably THE hottest spot in the country,” Brooks told Nashville’s News 2 upon the announcement of his bar. “The goal is a classic honky-tonk that welcomes all and encourages love and kindness while playing the greatest music in the world in the home of Country Music!”

Rumors of Garth opening his own bar started to swirl in March 2022 when Nashville Business Journal reported Garth was "eyeing a honky-tonk at 411 Broadway,” while "A number of public records also point to the involvement of Brooks’ camp.”

The dive bar concept isn’t a new one for Brooks, who has formerly commented on the idea of owning his own bar in Nashville saying it “made sense.”

“It makes sense, it can't come soon enough for me,” he said in a press conference in August 2021. “It would be an honor if I ever got to do it. I know exactly the way I'd want it to be because I live in the dive bars.”

Brooks finally got his chance and will be yet another Country artist to have a place in Music City. Nashville’s Broadway trip is currently home to many honky tonk bars owned by artists including Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, John Rich, Jason Aldean, and Kid Rock.
