"'It's time,'" Jana posted on social media. "That is a direct quote from my girlfriends over this past weekend as they sat with me trying to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again."
"I've fought y'all. I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give. It's time."
"I'm so incredibly sorry to the people I'm letting down," the "Why Ya Wanna" singer continues. "Just please know that I still believe wholeheartedly in marriage, love, and rebuilding. I just can't fight any longer. It's time to heal. Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful. I'll always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can't fight it alone. 💔"
"The Good Fight" refers to a book Jana and Mike published seven months ago about their personal challenges in overcoming his sex addiction, which the couple spoke with us about in November.
According to PEOPLE, the couple, who previously separated in 2016, is again separating over his alleged infidelity. They have two children: five year old Jolie Rae and two year old Jace Joseph.
