“Full House” costars and friends of the late Bob Saget joined together recently to honor the actor for the second anniversary of his death.
During an Instagram Live session on Jan. 9, former “Full House” stars John Stamos, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, and Candace Cameron Bure remembered Saget and discussed the time since his passing, according to PEOPLE. He died suddenly at the age of 65 in 2022.
Following the Live discussion, John Stamos shared clips of the remembrance on his own Instagram account.
"It almost gets weirder as time goes on, because I'm like, 'Wow, it's been a long time since I've heard from Bob.' And I'm like, 'Oh.' It's so weird to have gone two years without getting a crazy, long text from him or a neurotic phone call," Barber said.
Stamos added he doesn’t ever want to “get used to” his friend Saget being gone.
The assembled group watched a clip from Bure’s wedding, which included Saget getting emotional during the ceremony. This in turn got Bure emotional herself, as she said she’d never watched her own wedding video.
“That was so special,” she remarked.
Coulier said the cast is keeping Saget “alive” by sharing their fond memories of him.
"I think the biggest thing I learned through this, because Bob is the closest person I've lost in my life so far, is that it's been so nice to have people just sit in the grief with you," Bure said. "It's been a gift."
