
Nothing mythic about this folklore, Taylor Swift is officially the first female to have won the GRAMMY Awards Album Of The Year three times. Previously for Fearless in 2010 and 1989 in 2016, and now Taylor completed her trilogy with her 2021 win of folklore.

Her current affinity for things that come in three’s was also represented in her performance, as she sang “cardigan” and “august” both from her GRAMMY winning album, as well as “willow” from evermore.
Winning the award over HAIM, Post Malone, Black Pumas, Jhené Aiko, Jacob Collier, Coldplay, and Dua Lipa. Swift was also up for five other GRAMMYs tonight including, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Cardigan,” as well as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Exile” with Bon Iver, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Song Written for Visual Media for Cats’ “Beautiful Ghosts.”
Joining Swift to accept the award were album collaborators and fellow nominees Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner. This is Swift’s eleventh GRAMMY win, but something tells us she ain't done yet, not even when she reaches her lucky number 13.
