'Vampire Diaries' stars Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham 'break the internet' with surprise reunion

Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham sent “Vampire Diaries” fans into a frenzy after they revealed a surprise get-together.

On Sunday, Dobrev, 32, took to her Instagram stories to share videos of her and Graham, 31, reuniting for a playful hang out, E! News reported.

“Surprise Sunday Funday,” the Canadian actress captioned her Instagram video.

Dobrev then went on to explain her weekend plays, saying in short clip, “So I was sitting here on a Sunday, just chilling, and I thought to myself, ‘Can I break the internet?’”

The CW star continued, “And then I thought, ‘Yes, I think I can break the internet'” before showing Graham sitting beside her the whole time. “Consider yourself broken, internet.”

“I love you so much,” Graham said before kissing her friend and former co-star on the forehead.

Graham shared the same photo to her Instagram page, captioning the post, "Friendship isn’t just one big thing, it’s a million little things. Here’s to many more little things. To many more laughs, to taking chances, and always fighting for what’s right… Love you Nina. I am so deeply grateful for you in my life."

Vampire Diaries fans on Instagram quickly got excited about the surprise hangout. An Instagram post of the two of them shared on Dobrev’s account has already racked up over 3.3 million likes and received many comments celebrating the old friends.

"YOU REALLY DID BREAK THE INTERNET NINA," one person wrote, with another replying, "THE BEST DUO IS BACK IM LIVING."

While Dobrev seems to be getting along well with Graham, she has experienced minor riffs with former cast member Paul Wesley while on set of the hit teen drama.

The actress explained in a podcast in 2019 that her and Wesley did not get along in the first months of shooting, the source revealed.

"I remember everyone would walk up to me after the show aired and they'd be like, 'Are you and Paul dating in real life?'" Nina recalled. "Because everyone thought that we had such good chemistry... And we despised each other so much, that it read as love. We really just didn't get along the first maybe five months of shooting."

Despite not liking each other at first, the two have put their issues behind them, the outlet reports.

Dobrev said she "never thought that he would be one of my best friends."
