Ben Golliver couldn’t wait for human conversation… even if it was just Hoch and Donno.

The NBA writer for the Washington Post is now five days into his seven-day mandatory quarantine in the Orlando bubble that all media must go through in order to cover the NBA’s return beginning July 30.

“The only human contact I’ve had since Sunday is a daily coronavirus test where they come jam stuff up my nose and jam it back in my throat,” said Golliver.

This is the new reality for media and players that wish to adapt to the “new normal” as major sports leagues across America find a way to get players back in action.

Golliver talked to Hoch and Donno Friday and described his daily routine as he awaits clearance to enjoy the full experience of the Disney World campus that is available to those partaking in the NBA’s restart.

Along with the fascinating interview about the NBA's bubble, Hoch, Donno and Solana celebrated the final Loco Hour ever on the Hoch and Crowder show as we begin a new schedule on Monday. The show will be live from 2-6 pm on both 790 the Ticket and 560 the Joe WQAM, meaning those enjoying the Hochman and Crowder simulcast on WQAM will no longer miss out on the first hour.

Clay Ferraro joined the show today for a Ferraro Side Chat and Lee Sterling had his picks for this weekend’s fights. We wrapped up the show as always with another Searing Pain movie review with our film expert Jfig.
