The Miami Dolphins are having a strong start in year 2 under Brian Flores. A 4-3 record including three consecutive victories going into week 9 is certainly better than most expected.
Yesterday’s Dolphins Question of the Day on Hoch and Crowder posed the question: Who is the Miami Dolphins MVP through week 8? A strong mix of talent put together by GM Chris Grier and Flores has showcased their ability all year but who has stood out the most?
The easy answer is probably Xavien Howard who leads the NFL in interceptions. Ryan Fitzpatrick, the former starting QB, also would have been a strong candidate but can a player that was just demoted be your MVP?

Because the question generated such debate, Hoch and Crowder had NFL writer John Clayton weigh in.
“It is obviously an improved team from last year,” said Clayton when considering the options including Xavien Howard, Byron Jones and Kyle Van Noy.
