Area 2024 Stars Make A Statement At Under Armour

8th Grade All Star Football Game

It has come to a point where football recruiting has become so big that it is no longer enough to know about the current seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen. Fans and college coaches want to know it all.

While Thursday was about the seniors, headed to college and juniors who are looking for some attention, going into their final year, it was all about 8th graders as well.

The Under Armour experience also showcased some of the top 8th graders in the country – in a game at Camping World Stadium on Thursday.

As the East beat the West 14-6, there were a number of quality football players from across the nation, who are ready to head to high school next year and get some national exposure.

With prospects coming from all over the country, a few south Floridians showcased their skills as prospects to keep an eye on.

Many of the Class of 2024 prospects will have the opportunity to make an impact right away.

Prospects who were chosen to the East team and will be heard from plenty in the next few years include:

Tyler Aronson, QB, 6-1, 175, Palm Beach Gardens. While he hasn’t made up his mind where he will head next year, this is certainly someone who has a chance to be very special. Also handles the kicking which will add to his already impressive resume as a youth standout.

Michael Brennan, OL, 6-0, 215, Weston. The nephew of coaching icon Mark Guandolo, this is truly a player to keep an eye on. As he grows and matures, he will be special. Is also a wrestler, which will keep him in shape and competitive year round.

Carlos Dales Jr., LB, 5-10, 173, Coral Springs. Big time prospect who has University School and Chaminade-Madonna on his radar. Quality playmaker who is going to be very special down the line.

Davion Gause, RB, 5-9, 190, Opa Locka. If you follow youth football, you already know those Miami Gardens Raven star runner and linebacker, who they call “bullet” – and you can guarantee that he is indeed a star for the future. He had said that Chaminade-Madonna will be his destination in 2020.

Jordan Lyle, RB, 5-11, 155, Coral Springs. Another quality football talent who has St. Thomas Aquinas and University School on his radar.

James Madison II, 6-2, 175, Athlete, Davie. While he was injured the day before the game and was unable to play, this future University School star is going to be very special – playing on both sides of the football.

With so much emphasis on recruiting these days, there is really no such a thing is too early – and we saw that on Thursday.
