By now, you already know that when it comes to community and youth sports, nobody steps up to make things happen like the Miami Dolphins.
No matter what time of year, the Dolphins and the Junior Dolphins carry the flag for a community that continues to make everyone proud.
No matter if it’s camps and clinics or the highly popular Media Day, spotlighting high school football programs from Homestead to Jupiter in the summer, the Dolphins make things happen – in a first class manner.
On January 11th, the Miami Dolphins hosted the Girls Flag Football Combine presented by Nike at the Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University. The premier camp and training event for high school girls flag football players featured eight teams that participated in individual and team skills challenges as well as 7-on-7 play.
With schools such as Alonzo and Tracy Mourning, Boca Raton, Dr. Krop, Miami Central, Miami Edison, Miami Senior, Monsignor Pace and Southridge, the action was indeed impressive.
From football to team challenges, which included the bench press, 40 yard dash, throwing competition and team tug of war, the theme on this day was indeed rising to the challenge.
