There is no doubt that south Florida athletes are looking for every advantage.
While this is the time of year – when 7-on-7 and transfers are grabbing most of the headlines, athletes are starting to get offers and committing to a bright future.
Athletes are grabbing every advantage possible to help themselves – and if it means changing locations – that is now part of the entire process.
Instead of getting angry with these standout student/athletes, people need to embrace the fact that they are trying to help themselves advance.
MCCRAY PROFILE

SCOUTING: When the 2020 season begins, this impressive talent will take his position for an amazing fourth straight year as a starter.
In Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, starting as a freshman is certainly something that is not common, so when you have a prospect that does make an impact as a 9th grader, there is a lot of attention being paid.
As a freshman and sophomore at North Miami, he was truly someone that showed a lot of promise, and when he made the move to play for the Bulls this past season, his stock rose even further – playing alongside some of the nation’s elite prospects.
While he is getting ready for the 2020 season, McCray has been making an impact for the Florida Fire 7-on-7 team, and has truly been a major addition for Dennis Marroquin and this quality off season program.
