SOUTH FLORIDA PROSPECTS MAKE AN IMPACT
Usually, south Florida plays a big role in the game. This year, only a handful of locals had the chance to showcase their skills in the annual event.
University of Georgia commit Marcus Rosemy led a St. Thomas contingent that included LSU bound linemen Marcus Dumervil and Marlon Martinez.
Rosemy ended the game with three receptions.
Also, running back Jaylan Knight, who signed with the University of Miami, voted to the team, left before the game started to attend a candle lighting ceremony for Deerfield Beach teammate Bryce Gowdy, who was tragically killed on Monday morning.
University of Florida signee OL Isaiah Walker was also voted to game, but did not play.
The University of Miami had four other players voted into the game – with Oakleaf players Jalen Rivers (OL) and Chantz Williams DE) – and IMG Academy receiver Michael Redding III and Hewitt Trussville receiver Dazalin Worsham. Williams did not play in the game.
Miami Central head coach Roland Smith spent the week as a coach in the game.
IN GAME COMMITMENTS
