Cardinal Gibbons’ Linebacker Tray Brown Steps To The Front of The Class

Cardinal Gibbons Linebacker Tray Brown Is The Real Deal

When you are a younger football player in south Florida, it’s often tough to grab the spotlight in a sea of major stars.

At several schools across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, there are athletes who have been getting it done throughout the year with very little publicity – but that has been changing slowly.

As we continue to preach, it does not matter what class you happen to be in. If you can make plays and continue to be a difference maker on the football field, you are singled out.

Because much of he attention, when it comes to college coaches, is directly on the state of Florida, that doesn’t seem like it will change anytime soon.

BROWN PROFILE

PLAYER: Tray Brown

POSITION: LB

SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons

CLASS: 2022

HEIGHT: 6-0

WEIGHT: 210

SCOUTING: Ask head coach Matt Dubuc about his football team and he will go down the list and point out the prospects who have helped make this program one of the best in Florida.

No matter where it’s at – Dubuc will showcase the athletes who have worked hard and put in the time to elevate the program.

Perhaps nobody on the defensive side of the ball has made more of an impact than Brown. Hard worker, great teammate and someone who has proven that what you put into the game, you certainly get out.

When the 2020 season begins, this will be one of the top Class of 2022 prospects in the state – and he continues to receive several college offers.
