Manish Mehta 'Any Fan Base Deserves Better than Adam Gase'

The Jets have quickly become the most dysfunctional team in the NFL.  Led by former Dolphin Head Coach Adam Gase, the Jets are 0-4 and the front runner for the top pick in the draft.  The most recent disaster took place yesterday with the release of star running back Le’Veon Bell.  Manish Mehta from the New York Daily News joined The Joe Rose Show Wednesday morning and said this about Bell being released, “To cut ties with Le’Veon Bell five games into his second season without any compensation is a failure on the organizations part.”

Mehta has been critical of Adam Gase through his Jets tenure and now it just seems as though Gase is on the clock.  Manish said Gase will certainly not make it to 2021 but when he will be let go is not quite clear.  He had this to say about Gase, “I think the issue here is not only are they a really bad team and a really bad product, but there’s a lot of apathy among the fan base, they are almost rooting for the Jets to lose because they hate this head coach so much they just want to get rid of the poison as quickly as possible, it’s sad actually, I think any fan base deserves better than Adam Gase.”

The Jets and Dolphins will meet on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium, the game can be heard right here on WQAM with Joe Rose, Jimmy Cefalo, and Jason Taylor on the call.
