The NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell have done an amazing job getting in every NFL game thus far this season. While there have been hiccups like what we saw in Denver, things have gone smoother than anyone could have anticipated. League agent Drew Rosenhaus joined The Joe Rose Show on Thursday morning and had some comments on the job the league is doing.
Rosenhaus said, “I think that the NFL has done, the word would be remarkable…to get every single game in is just miraculous. I really believe that the NFL has a system, in Denver, it was painful to see them play without a QB but they have a protocol and essentially they weren’t going to make an exception for them…It’s hard for me to be critical of what the NFL has done so far, is it ideal, no. Have we had clients miss games, absolutely! I think though from my perspective and I am very close to this, I don’t have an issue with the way the NFL has done things so far.”
Joe Rose also spoke about the job the league has done this year. Rose said, "They have done a really good job but I am not a fan of Denver playing that game, that’s the only thing…you know there’s no chance they can win. But overall I’ve been shocked that we haven’t missed any games. I thought when this all started and the numbers were really bad, I was wondering what it was going to be like after five or six games. I am just still having trouble with Denver and they punished them for breaking protocol but they punished fans too. You never want to have a game where someone doesn’t have a shot."
The madness continues with week 13 on Sunday!
