The Miami Dolphins keep delivering one success story after another this season.  Miami has now won five straight heading into their matchup with Denver this Sunday.  The team has had not one but two great stories at the running back position.  First, it was Myles Gaskin, but now with Gaskin hurt, his best friend Salvon Ahmed is stepping in and showing he is deserving of the touches he’s getting.  The undrafted rookie took 21 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown in last week’s win over the Chargers.  Ahmed joined The Joe Rose Show on Thursday morning to talk about his path to becoming a starting running back in the NFL.

Ahmed said, “It doesn’t even feel real…just last week I’m standing there like man, I am really starting in this game, and the whole process to get to this point it’s just been such a journey so I am just so grateful to be in that position.  It’s crazy, it just feels like I’m living in a movie every game.”

Ahmed has been one of the most added fantasy players this week so hurry and grab him if you still can!
