It’s almost time for Tua to get his first NFL start in one of the most highly anticipated Dolphin games in many years. One of the big reasons that the team feels comfortable giving Tua the start on Sunday is because of the solid play of the offensive line. Although they will have their hands full with Aaron Donald and the Rams, they are confident that they can protect Tua.
Offensive linemen Ted Karras joined The Joe Rose Show on Thursday morning to talk about his job to protect Tua on Sunday. Karras said, “Obviously we have to get a guy ready for his first NFL start, we want to make him feel comfortable and we have a pretty big challenge across the ball this week, yesterday was a great start to practice, we have another big one today, we just have to keep working and put our best performance out there Sunday afternoon.
The Dolphins and Tua will kick it off at 1 PM on Sunday at Hard Rock. Sunday’s game can be heard here on WQAM.
