Brandon Graham never seems fazed by big moments, but he’ll admit he was a little nervous going into Sunday.

Graham and the Philadelphia Eagles faced their biggest test of the season Sunday in the NFC Championship against the 49ers. San Francisco entered the game having won 12 straight, boasting an elite defense with an offense that had some really strong stretches with Brock Purdy as their quarterback.

But the Eagles drubbed the 49ers, whose odds to win got pretty long as they lost both their quarterbacks to injuries during the game. The Eagles looked unbeatable at times, making it easy to forget that the result wasn’t widely expected to be a shellacking.

What the 49ers faced though was a team operating in peak form, and Graham said Tuesday on “Angelo Cataldi and the Morning Team” that it was the product of a great week of practice spurred by their respect for the Niners.

“I was (nervous), man, I ain’t going to lie,” Graham said. “I’ve got a lot of respect for that team. I know who their coaches are, I’ve been (teammates) with some of the guys on the field, I know the fight that they have. Man, them boys, they play hard. They got us to practice the best we’ve practiced all year because of how much respect we have for that team and what they showed on film."

The Eagles now will face the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. It’ll be the second shot at a Lombardi Trophy for Graham and a handful of other longtime Eagles.
