Sometimes, the low-hanging fruit is just too good to pass up.
For example, after it was reported Tuesday that veteran defensive tackle Eddie Goldman had decided to retire less than two weeks after signing with the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints' edge rusher Cam Jordan checked in on Twitter:
Jordan is coming off of a season where he had 12 1/2 sacks for the Saints. Now 33, Jordan has 107 sacks during his career, and can become the franchise's all-time leader in the statistic with 8 1/2 or more sacks in 2022. The 23 sacks that Jordan has against the Falcons in his career are by far the most against any single opponent.
